I had the option of a 2836 clone or the DG2813. I went with the 2813 as it is closer to gen in BPH and to save 0. Does anyone know if JKF makes a 5513/5512? I currently have a JKF 1680, which runs AMAZING and has superb SEL. For this reason I am pretty biased towards the 5512/5513 being from same factory. Or is there a better maker out there for these models? Wall of Images. This was originally a JKF Submariner, so the lugs were slightly wider and the crown guards were much chunkier than gen. My goal is to create a heavily used, but not abused 5513, circa late 1960s. The watch would have been polished a few times in its life, but never religiously.
The JKF/Cartel vintage ones are excellent and great value for money. My suggestion is buy the accessories with it if you can namely a Rivet bracelet, that is just my bias as I love them. I have worn many unmodded JKF watches and the quality is really good.
